WebSo I have a WD blue Hard Drive or HDD that the plastic around the SATA connector port is broken. The pins are actually okay just the the plastic around the pins broke off. So I looked up option on to fix it. Saw a video where a guy bought a L shape adapter for the power and SATA port connector, one side male the other end female. WebFeb 14, 2024 · 6 Answers. One thing it’s possible to remove the data. You will have to find a way to open it up to get to the hard drive. Then get a sata to usb cable and plug it back into your computer and copy all the data off to another external drive. The only thing is I’m not sure how to open it up so you will have to google it.
