As mentioned, it's the original glass and gasket and both are in excellent condition and do not leak, so I guess that I will just fight with the headliner to get it installed, rather than removing the rear glass. I found it preferable to glue the front and rear edges first, then pull the sides firm and glue those. I used a contact cement (Bear Contact), but you need to be careful not to use too much, or it will soak through and may stain the fabric.
